These pieces were commissioned by local municipalities to raise funds for their local art programs.

Art Pieces

These creations are traveling pieces that are part of art shows. 

Fire Tree 2019 The Fire Tree is a debut piece (December 2019) made of 100% upcycled yarn purchased through Seattle ReCreative. A ‘fire tree’ is colloquialism referring to the fiery reds and yellows of autumn leaves on trees. The piece is currently not for sale and will be used to promote the second life of discarded material as art mediums.
Octy is an upcycled piece crochet from plastic bags that were sourced and cut in to strips to make “plarn”. Octy made his debut appearance at the SeaFair Parade in 2017 and has been part of the Seattle Recycled Arts Festival, the Shoreline Arts Festival, the Washington State Fair and the PNA Members Art Show
