But we happen to know that some of the most serious sparkling wines are made right here in Berkeley, specifically by our friend Josh Hammerling. Tilted Mile is a 50 50 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from sustainable, organic vineyards, made in the Champagne method. The wine is aged 16 months in bottle before disgorging by hand.
