plus just a hint of smoked meat
The 2017 edition (aged long enough in bottle to qualify as a Gran Reserva) has strikingly bright red berry fruit with a citrusy note over a boquet of sage
intended to be bright and refreshing with a nose of strawberry and cranberry
the Collines Rhodaniennes offers an uncomplicated but satisfying version of Syrah
so truly organic farming is still rare in the heart of the region
Walter Scott Sojeau Vineyard Pinot Noir 2024 Region:Willamette Valley plus just a hint ofWalter Scott owns no vineyards, but Sujeau is as close as they get to an 'estate'. Looking straight east at the Van Duzer Corridor, grapes here handle plenty of weather through the growing season, and the resulting wine is fully formed. Nicely structured, lengthy tannins, with forest floor, strawberry and floral accents, this is the most 'complete' wine of the set.
