The movie is the raw edged tale of two teenage girls who are out of sync with the world around them and stars Scarlett Johannson and Thora Burch who are pictured on the cover of the LP. The sound track is a fascinating mix ture of atmospheric blues, vintage jazz, calypso, rock, ragtime, Indian film music and more.
