Victorian Silver Engraved Prince of Wales Brooch 3 Feathers adey if you feel the sameThe origin of the Prince of Wales Feathers as a symbol is often attributed to Edward, the Black Prince, who lived in the 14th century. Legend has it that the black prince received the feathers from King John of Bohemia after defeating him at the Battle of Crcy in 1346. The feathers were then incorporated into his coat of arms and became associated with the Prince of Wales title. This magnificent brooch was made around 1890 and features three feathers
