But it's well built, and accepts transparencies up to 8x10". Not bad! Resolution is 1600dpi, which may be limiting for 35mm but will do a good job on medium and large format. You can also use it as a standard reflective scanner for drawings, prints, and more. It connects via standard USB or SCSI, believe it or not. Includes a set of holders for 35mm
